i'm moving to the south of germany soon for a couple of months (or longer depending on how i like it etc.) for work. i am a librarian (in case i didn't tell you) and will work as a part time librarian in germany. little money but great cultural experience. i found a nice room and have posted pictures of it on the blog already. i stayed there for a week in january and liked it. i've taken my books and clothes to germany some time ago and i will travel with hand luggage only which is so pleasant. /// it's so exciting. germany wasn't my first choice (in fact london and amsterdam were but london isn't very exciting- i've been there hundreds of times and amsterdam unfortunantely didn't work out) but it's fine. the city where i will stay isn't very big but it has good travel connections to bigger cities and neighbouring countries. berlin. the apartment where i'll stay has some flaws but i honestly don't want to be too picky. german literature, museums, castles, new friends, new shops, new foods... i will miss some good people and the sea though. i'm a girl from the seaside. there's no denying.
